Cecilia Lane, M.S., ATC – Resident
Cecilia began her higher education on an athletic and academic scholarship for track and cross country, while training to be an Emergency Medical Technician. While pursuing her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training at Kansas State University, she worked with the football, volleyball, track, soccer, and equestrian teams while doing various physical therapy internships outside of her schoolwork. Cecilia began her professional career as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Oklahoma State University, where she worked with the track and cross country teams and earned her Master’s degree in Applied Exercise Science.

Profile
Growing up in rural Kansas, Cecilia ran track and cross country throughout high school and college. When she was derailed from training in high school due to an injury, she developed an interest in athletic training to give back to the sport she fell in love with.
Cecilia began her higher education on an athletic and academic scholarship for track and cross country, while training to be an Emergency Medical Technician. While pursuing her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training at Kansas State University, she worked with the football, volleyball, track, soccer, and equestrian teams while doing various physical therapy internships outside of her schoolwork. Cecilia began her professional career as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Oklahoma State University, where she worked with the track and cross country teams and earned her Master’s degree in Applied Exercise Science.
While track will remain something she loves, Cecilia wanted more out of her profession and has chosen to pursue an athletic training residency, joining the team at Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists. "Everyone at O+FS has been so welcoming, knowledgeable, and enjoyable to be around. I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with such a great team of health providers and continue to develop my craft as an athletic trainer."
In her spare time, she enjoys running and hiking, quilting, reading, and exploring her new home in Oregon.
