Born and raised in Honolulu, HI, orthopedics has always been Marc Obando’s preferred specialty. Marc began his educational journey at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs where he played a year of NCAA DII varsity soccer before an injury changed his path. He focused on completing his Health Science degree while also being the founder and president of the university soccer club which is still going strong to this day. Shortly after graduation, Marc continued his education at the University of Northern Colorado where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. He worked as an Athletic trainer for four years where he traveled across North America with a semi-professional women’s soccer team and as a senior rehabilitation technician before continuing his education to become a Physician Assistant.
Marc is looking to start his career at Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists. When he is not working, he enjoys camping, fishing, cooking, traveling, and watching sports. He is excited to live closer to his family in Hawaii.
