Rachel Rios, ATC has worked as a clinical athletic trainer for the last 5 years with experience in collegiate sports, military, and high school settings. Originally from San Antonio, she is a long way from home, but is excited to be a part of the team of Athletic Trainers at Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists!

Rachel Rios, originally from San Antonio, Texas is joining the team of Athletic Trainers at Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists. Rachel attended Hardin Simmons University as a graduate assistant athletic trainer and graduated in 2019 with a Masters of Education in Kinesiology, Sports, and Recreation. Prior to that, she attended University of the Incarnate Word where she obtained a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training in 2017. Prior to her big move, she worked at Joint Base San Antonio – Lackland Air Force Base as a senior athletic trainer within Basic Military Training to serve the men and women entering the military. Rachel has worked as a clinical athletic trainer for 5 years with experience in collegiate sports, military, and high school settings. She has also taken an interest in the dry needling treatment technique throughout her career.
Rachel enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Copper and Tod, reading, being adventurous and exploring new things. She is a long way from home, but is excited to join Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists!
