Unlike conventional pain relief solutions, this approach goes beyond masking symptoms by addressing the source of the pain, providing lasting relief and helping you get back to enjoying your favorite activities.

Interventional pain management is effective for a variety of conditions, including back and neck pain, joint and nerve pain (knee, shoulder, hip) and chronic conditions such as arthritis. It’s also commonly used for treating sciatica, herniated discs, and migraine-related pain.
These techniques focus on targeting the nerves and areas causing pain. For instance, epidural steroid injections reduce inflammation, nerve blocks numb the source of discomfort, and radiofrequency ablation interrupts pain signals sent to the brain. These procedures are minimally invasive and generally require little to no recovery time.
Results vary depending on the procedure and condition being treated, but many patients report significant relief within days or weeks, with some treatments offering immediate improvements. Our specialists will work closely with you to monitor progress and adjust your care plan if needed.

If you receive sedation, you'll need a responsible adult to drive you home. Even without sedation, some injections can cause temporary numbness or weakness, so we recommend planning for a ride. Our team will let you know what to expect when you schedule.
Steroid injections are usually limited to a few per year in the same area to reduce side effects, such as effects on bone, skin and blood sugar. Your physician will decide how often is safe for you based on how long your relief lasts and your overall health.
Radiofrequency ablation uses heat to quiet the small nerves that carry pain signals from arthritic spine joints. Relief often lasts six to twelve months or longer, and the procedure can be repeated if the pain returns. Before RFA, a test nerve block helps confirm it's likely to work for you.
