Sydney Reid, PA-C

Originally from Riverside, California, Sydney’s passion for orthopedics began during her Division I Track and Field career as a long jumper at the University of California, Berkeley. Following a career-ending injury during her final season, she developed a passion for patient advocacy and helping individuals overcome injury, regain function, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology from Cal, Sydney began her healthcare career as a Physical Therapy Aide and Emergency Room Technician. She then moved to the Pacific Northwest to earn her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Oregon Health & Science University, where her clinical experiences further cultivated her passion for orthopedics and solidified her desire to pursue a career in the field. During her time in Portland, she also fell in love with the city’s vibrant food scene, culture, and beautiful outdoors. She is thrilled to continue her career at Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists, with the goal of helping patients regain confidence in their movement and return to the activities they enjoy.

Outside of work, Sydney enjoys snowboarding at Mt. Hood, cooking, boxing and kickboxing, traveling, and going on adventures with friends.
