Our secure Patient Portal allows you to manage your healthcare online anytime.
Through the portal you can:
- View visit summaries and test results
- Send secure messages to your care team
- Complete forms before your appointment
- Update contact information
- Pay your bill online
How to Access the Patient Portal
- Click the Patient Portal link on our website or visit https://34012.portal.athenahealth.com/
- Select Log in with athenahealth.
- Enter your email and password.
If you received an email invitation, use that link first to activate your account.
First-Time Users
If you have never used the athenahealth portal before:
- Open the invitation email from our office.
- Click Create Account.
- Confirm your name, date of birth, and email.
- Create your password.
Common Portal Issues & Solutions
1. I already have a portal account with another doctor
Many healthcare providers use athenahealth, so you may already have an account.
If this is the case:
- Click Log in with athenahealth.
- Use the same email and password you use for the other provider.
- After logging in, our practice will appear in your portal list.
If you forgot your password, select Forgot Password on the login screen.
💡 Important:
You do not need to create a new account for each provider using athenahealth.
2. I received an invitation but the system says I already have an account
This usually means your email address is already registered.
Solution:
- Click Log in with athenahealth instead of creating a new account.
- Use Forgot Password if needed.
3. I cannot find my invitation email
Please check your:
- Spam folder
- Junk folder
- Promotions folder (Gmail)
If you still cannot find it, contact our office and we will resend the invitation.
4. I forgot my password
- Go to the portal login page.
- Click Forgot Password.
- Follow the instructions sent to your email.
5. The portal will not load or I cannot log in
Try the following:
- Use Google Chrome, Safari, or Microsoft Edge
- Clear your browser cache
- Try a different device (phone or computer)
When to Use the Portal vs Call the Office
Use the portal for:
- Non-urgent medical questions
- Prescription refill requests
- Viewing test results
- Updating contact information
- Paying bills
Call the office for:
- Urgent medical concerns
- Same-day appointment requests
- Technical issues with your portal access
