Profile

Mary Grace (Grace) was born and raised in Cebu City, Philippines and was encouraged by her aunt to take up physical therapy in the mid 90's not knowing exactly what it was. She fell in love with the science behind PT practice and graduated top of her class from Cebu Doctors' University in 2003. She practiced physical therapy in the Philippines for 5 years serving her alma mater, Cebu Doctors’ University. Her need to explore the world brought her to Chicago in 2008 working as a physical therapist. When she moved, she explored different PT settings and found that she loved being in an outpatient setting working in Orthopedics and got trained also treating Vestibular and Temporomandibular disorders.

Alone in a big city, Grace found new friends through her love for running and entered marathons and triathlons. During the end of the season, she would go on hiking trips which led her to seeing the Pacific Northwest with her then fiancé, ultimately leading them to move to Oregon in 2021. They continue to explore the city and the unending hiking trails that Oregon has to offer.

Grace strongly believes that every patient has their own goals that they want to achieve with physical therapy, and she strives to work on a personalized care plan with them in order to get them there!
