Profile

Nicholas (Nick) was born in Guam, but has spent most of his life just outside of Acadia National Park in Maine. He never heard of athletic training until his freshman year of high school when they got their first Athletic Trainer. After ending up in the athletic training room a few times, Nick discovered his passion for this profession. What caught his eye is how impactful an athletic trainer is to an athlete and their well-being both on and off the field and the range of their knowledge.

After high school, Nick attended the University of Maine, a Division I school, where he graduated cum laude with a B.S. in athletic training. As a student athletic trainer, Nick worked with almost every team the University of Maine has including the men’s ice hockey team, football team, and women’s soccer team. Nick also had clinical experience as an athletic training student with a Division III school and the University of Maine’s on campus clinic.
