O+F Welcomes Dr. Kimberly L. Workman

Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists is proud to announce that Dr. Kimberly L. Workman is joining us in the practice of orthopedic surgery beginning October 2017. Dr. Workman is coming to Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists from Northwest Permanente where she has been practicing since 2006. Originally from California, Dr. Workman moved to Portland, Oregon in 2005 for her fellowship in lower extremity trauma, reconstruction, and limb deformity with Summit Orthopedics and decided to make Oregon her home.

Dr. Workman’s interest in orthopedics sparked at a young age when she watched her father establish an orthopedic clinic in a third-world country and work with his patients to improve their functional ability and quality of life. She specializes in acute and chronic conditions and disorders of the lower extremity. “Each patient has a unique story and their orthopedic ailments affect their lives in different ways. I tell my patients, ‘I don’t treat x-rays, I treat the person.’ I enjoy listening to and getting to know my patients and developing a personalized plan with them to help them get back on their feet!”

Dr. Workman is a board-certified, orthopedic surgeon with extensive sub-specialty training in foot & ankle, focusing primarily on lower extremity trauma, limb lengthening, deformity reconstruction, ankle arthritis, and ring fixator surgery. In addition to the lower extremity, her area of practice includes total joint replacement and general orthopedics.
