It is quite likely that you will interact with one of our amazing Physician Associates (PAs) during your patient journey and may ask yourself, what is a PA? PAs are licensed clinicians who practice medicine in every medical specialty and healthcare setting. These individuals go through a rigorous education and training program in highly competitive PA programs, engage in countless hours of clinical rotations, and often receive further training on-the-job in their chosen specialty.
Our highly trained and skilled Physician Associates work alongside our Physicians in delivering exceptional specialized care to put people’s lives in motion. This can range anywhere from performing your initial intake, ordering and interpreting diagnostic imaging, administering injections, providing fracture care, all the way to assisting in surgery and managing post-operative care. Our PAs play a vital role in the clinic and in the OR at both our ASC as well as the hospital.
