Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists Honored to Partner with the Portland Pilots
PORTLAND, Oregon: Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists (O+FS) are proud to announce that they are the official orthopedic sports medicine providers for University of Portland Athletics effective immediately. The Specialists at Orthopedic + Fracture are extremely excited to provide support and services to the incredible Portland Pilots student-athletes as well as potential future offerings to the student body at large. “We at O+FS have similar values and priorities as UP Athletics that make the two cultures easily compatible”, said Sports Medicine Physician, Dr. R. Brian Bettencourt. “Being on campus and providing medical services doesn’t feel like ‘work’ because I’m surrounded by friendly, engaging, and compassionate staff and students that create a welcoming environment. It’s my pleasure to support UP’s staff and help their student-athletes perform at their highest level.”
The sports medicine physicians, orthopedic surgeons, as well as advanced practitioners at O+FS will be providing: home game and sport event coverage, pre-game clinics for student athletes, off-season clinic visits at UP’s Athletic Training Room, and bi-annual continuing education opportunities for the Portland Pilots Sports Medicine Team. In addition to these services on site, O+FS will also provide concierge 503-ATHLETE Hotline access to services at both clinic locations to facilitate priority student-athlete triage and visits.
