Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, Andy obtained his bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, spending time interning in various research labs. He eventually realized that working with people was much more fulfilling than working with mice, and initially began his medical career as a medical assistant at Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists. He went on to receive his master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon, and after seeing the rewarding, tangible results patients can experience with orthopedic care, he was drawn to return to O+FS. He thoroughly enjoys the team aspect of patient care and loves to see patients get back to their optimal health. He is thrilled to return to a wonderful care team, and to be able to continue calling the pacific northwest home!
In his spare time, Andy enjoys hiking/backpacking, running, playing guitar and mandolin, and going to as many Timbers games as possible.
