Linda I. Okereke, M.D.
Working at a clinic where an emphasis on listening is common practice among physicians, Dr. Linda Okereke takes it a step further. She encourages her patients to listen as well. “Injury prevention is probably more important than anything so just advising people on how to listen to their bodies and to do what is right to prevent future injury is best,” she says.

Practicing physical medicine and rehabilitation puts Dr. Okereke in contact with a wide range of patients and conditions. She strives to determine each patient’s goal and creates a plan to achieve it. “My goal is to work with patients to help them live as full a life as possible,” she says.
Dr. Okereke graduated from medical school in Kansas City before completing her internship in Massachusetts and her residency New York. She spent a year in Cleveland as a Spine Medicine Fellow with interventional
training and non-surgical management of spine conditions before coming to the Northwest.
One thing that helps Dr. Okereke in her daily routine is her appreciation of an active lifestyle and her patients’
motivation for being healthy.
“I would never tell anyone to do or follow a specific treatment or way of life if I couldn’t do it myself,” she says. “So striving to be healthy and active, and learning the best way to do it has really helped me enjoy my life and job.”
