Profile

Megan Gabourel's passion for studying or the human body began she was a youth athlete, experiencing rehabilitaion and injuries of her own. She has always been in awe of how resilient the human body is and she considers herself lucky enough to have ended up in a profession that gets to prove that every day. Not only does she enjoy helping individuals reach their physical and functional goals, she also appreciates learning about each person on a personal level and getting to know their story.

Megan initially began at O+FS as a Rehab Aide and loved being surrounded by such a great team that it was an easy decision coming back to work here as a provider. Following her pursuit of educating and treating patients, she spent a summer in Uganda, serving at multiple schools for disabled children. There she was able to work on helping train and educate their caregivers to find ways to treat and manage children with various disabilities.
